Join us to learn about Science in the courtroom, art gallery, museum and more.
Thursday 6 March
Join us on the eve of British Science Week to learn about intriguing impacts of Science in unexpected places: the courtroom, art gallery, museum and more. Not sure how to combine your Science studies with other subjects and interests? Interested in a career that uses Science beyond the lab? This event is for you.
From 4pm - arrive and explore the galleries. Optional to book a planetarium show for your group (this is a costed activity). The cafe is staying open late for you to refuel between your day's studying and our evening talk.
5 - 6:15pm - Hear the talks
The event will close by 6:30pm
This event is aimed at schools and colleges bringing groups of students (Year 11 - 13); and home educators (suggested ages 15-18 and working at GCSE Level / Level 3). We also welcome those in education other than school, waiting for school/college placements, currently not in education employment or training.
