Workshop Summary
Explore the stories we can learn from rocks and discover how they teach us about Earth’s history. This hands-on workshop uses our extensive collection of hand specimens to introduce pupils to the creation of igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks and goes on to see what stories the rocks can tell us about the ancient environments preserved in our own region.
