Great North Museum: Hancock has an established partnership with the Museum of Science & Technology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre. A project focussed on the use of scientific collections for teaching evolution and understanding of environmental change was funded by the Newton Fund, supported by British Council Brazil. The partnership includes teaching, research and exchange activities at both universities, bringing academic research to a broad public audience. A new permanent exhibit at PUCRS, Traits of Evolution, was a major outcome of the partnership, in addition to the Fossil Song featuring in the GNM's Bones exhibition. You can find out more here.
