Meet Georgina Scott
Assistant Learning Officer
I co-ordinate the early years learning programme, working with children from birth to five. My main aim in the museum is to ensure our youngest visitors have an exciting experience and inspire them to come back and explore our treasures again and again as they grow.
I trained as an Early Years Professional at university and worked as a curriculum leader in a nursery school before seeking out a new adventure at the museum. I have experience of supporting children with additional needs, and am trained in using Makaton up to stage 8.
Before my career in early years education I trained in Theatre, Performance and Events Design at university, and specialised in Puppetry.
