Dippy Silent Disco Competition

Dippy the Dinosaur is having a farewell Silent Disco at the Great North Museum: Hancock on Friday 4 October 2019. To celebrate we are giving away a group ticket for up to six people for the 8.30-10.30pm session.

All you need to do to have a chance to win the group ticket is to LIKE or LOVE this Facebook post. Please feel free to share with friends so that they can enter too.

Entries close at 11pm on 30 September. The winner will be contacted on 1 October. Full terms and conditions below.

1. The Promoter of this prize draw is the Great North Museum: Hancock, Barras Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 4PT.
2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over except employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
3. This prize draw is free to enter but internet access and your own genuine personal Facebook account are required.
4. To enter into the prize draw, simply LIKE or LOVE the following Facebook post - https://www.facebook.com/132062493527041/posts/2668437499889515/
5. Strictly only one entry per person is permitted and multiple entries and/or anyone found to use multiple accounts and/or fake accounts to enter will be disqualified.  The Promoter shall also have the right to disqualify any entrants that are in breach of Facebook’s Terms of Service (https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms).
6. The opening date for entries is 10am on Friday 27 September 2019. The closing date of the prize draw is 11pm on Monday 30 September 2019. Entries received outside of this timeframe will not be valid.
7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
8. One (1) winner will be randomly selected by a computer process on Tuesday 1 October 2019 (the “Draw Date”).
9. The winner will receive the prize of: A group ticket for up to six (6) persons for the event Silent Disco with Dippy, 8.30-10.30pm, Friday 4 October 2019.
10. The winner and any other persons using the prize will be required to pay a small refundable deposit of £5 each on the night for the use of headphones at the Silent Disco.
11. The winner will be notified on the Draw Date via the Facebook account they used to enter. If the winner does not claim their prize before midnight on Wednesday 2 September 2019 then the prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
12. The prize will be arranged with the winner and tickets sent via email.
13. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-negotiable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered, including for any unused tickets. 
14. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
15. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of this prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
16. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
18. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
19. Personal data provided by you in entering this prize draw will be processed by the Promoter for the purpose of administering this prize draw. Entry to this prize draw will be deemed as your consent to this processing. If you do not wish your personal data to be processed in this way, please do not enter this prize draw.
20. Personal data supplied during the course of this prize draw may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. If you do not wish your personal data to be processed in this way, please do not enter this prize draw.
21. This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by or associated with Facebook and entrants hereby acknowledge and agree that Facebook has no liability whatsoever in respect of these terms and conditions nor the prize draw to which they relate.
22. The prize draw shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction.
