Event Summary
Did you know in July we celebrate the Festival of Archaeology? Our museum is home to a wonderful collection of objects from the past, telling us stories about the people and communities who lived near and far away.
Take part in a full day of workshops and self-led activities. Explore our objects through trails, gallery kits and facilitated sessions. Learn archaeological techniques and get close to objects.
During your visit you will be given a timetable that makes sure you get to take part in each activity.
Each group will take part in 2 workshops, and 2 self-led sessions with set activities.
