About

We are inviting all women* to take part in Making Histories, an exciting series of free creative workshops in the Great North Museum: Hancock.

The workshops will use objects from the Shefton Collection of Greek Art and Archaeology to shed light on the lives of women in antiquity, which have resonances for women today.

There will be the opportunity to hear about new research on the objects and to see and handle them. Each workshop will be led by a creative practitioner.

Refreshments will be provided. Local travel bursaries are available with a valid return ticket.

Material Histories I: Ceramics
