Discover and record as much wildlife as possible over four days - all that's needed is you and your phone
Until Monday 29 April
Represent the North East in this international competition, showing the world our diverse and beautiful natural environment.
Discover and record as much wildlife as possible over four days - all that's needed is you and your phone. Your observations will help us learn about and protect our amazing wildlife.
HOW TO TAKE PART
2. Join the City Nature Challenge 2019: North East England project on iNaturalist.
3. From 26-29 April, head outdoors solo or as part of a local event near you and record your wildlife sightings to the iNaturalist project. Photograph plants, animals, fungi, slime mould, or any other evidence of life (droppings, fur, tracks, shells, carcasses) you find anywhere in North East England. Pets and garden plants are not acceptable sightings.
Do you want to organise an event, walk or activity? Are you a school that wants to get involved? Please contact email@example.com for more information.
